Prescott, Ariz. — Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) will host a free well owner workshop in Prescott, Arizona on May 13. The event is open to all private well owners, including well owners in Yavapai County. Topics will include understanding the importance of water quality, understanding the well’s geology and aquifer, and well and septic system operation and maintenance. Attendees are invited to bring a three ounce sample of their well water for free testing for nitrate.

The workshop will take place from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Adult Center of Prescott, 1280 E Rosser Street B, Prescott.

Workshop registration is limited and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
