Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) is a nonprofit organization that supports rural communities as they chart their path to create change. Our environmental team works in diverse and low-income communities to increase access to safe drinking water and to make rural water, wastewater and solid waste systems sustainable. We work closely with community staff and board members to provide financial, managerial and technical services. RCAC welcomes applicants with a variety of experience and skills which can be used to meet the many needs of the communities we serve. If you have a passion for improving the living conditions of underserved communities, we’d like to hear from you!
Most program positions have some overnight travel, flexible work locations and schedules. Our field staff members have the opportunity to define and develop their own work plans to achieve community driven outcomes. Though staff members work and are located across 13 western states, we celebrate teamwork and open door access to peers, managers and senior leadership. We offer competitive salaries, benefits and opportunities for growth and advancement. We have a keen interest and desire for our staff composition to reflect the diverse communities we serve.
We have many open Community and Environmental Services positions in several western states. Apply Now! Feel free to contact Tricia Wu Borges at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about our work, job requirements or the application process!
