SBA staff member helping clients.The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is beginning to process disaster loan applications for residents impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Due to the large volume of applications, SBA is hiring temporary employees to participate in the efforts. Retired loan officers or others with lending experience would work in Fort Worth, Texas or Sacramento, California to review and recommend approval or decline of disaster loans.

Temporary positions would last up to 130 days. Expenses would be covered at government rates including salary, travel, lodging, per diem for meals and local transportation. Qualified individuals would take a leave of absence from their current job.
