RCAC seeks a Program Developer/Grant Writer

Have you successfully written proposals to public and private funders? Are you a big picture person who can pay attention to detailed instructions? Are you good at marketing new programs and asking for money? Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) is seeking a Program Developer to join our Corporate Development team.
RCAC's Corporate Development Department plans, develops and secures grants, contracts and investments; assists senior management with the strategic plan; and produces publications and marketing materials for the corporation. As part of this department, the program developer builds program concepts and priorities; coordinates, plans, and develops grant applications; closes investments to the RCAC Loan Fund; contributes to RCAC publications; and drafts and reviews marketing materials. The program developer must be detail oriented, work well both independently and as part of a team; and excel at marketing new programs and asking for money. This position also requires strong writing and communication skills, creativity, and knowledge of community development. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of applicable experience in rural development.
