WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Rural Community Assistance Corporation announced that it has received a $35,000 JPMorgan Chase grant. This funding is dedicated to enhancing housing counseling programs in California’s underserved rural communities.
The grant will support RCAC’s Housing department staff in providing technical assistance to Inland Fair Housing, Lutheran Social Services of Southern California, Ventura County Community Development Corporation and Haven Services. Serving the counties of San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura and Orange, respectively, these important organizations deliver services such as foreclosure prevention, financial literacy education and other initiatives that expand and secure affordable housing opportunities for those who need them most.
“JPMorgan Chase’s generous contribution strengthens our capacity to help rural communities seeking homeownership and demonstrates the strength of our partnership,” said Suzanne Anarde-Devenport, RCAC’s chief executive officer. “By providing our housing counseling agencies with more resources and training, we are enabling more families to achieve their dream of owning a home.”
RCAC’s collaboration with JPMorgan Chase is part of a broader effort to strengthen housing counseling agencies and help support a sustainable means to empower individuals and families to achieve long-term housing stability and economic independence.
