RCAC Loan Fund lends nearly $8 million to rural communities

West Sacramento, Calif. — In the quarter ending Dec. 31, 2018, Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) closed 22 loans totaling nearly $8 million to support rural communities in Alaska, California, Idaho, New Mexico and Washington.

W.K. Kellogg Foundation funding helps increase Native Community Development Financial Institutions’ capacity to work with Native American communities

Kellogg Foundation recently made a $1 million Program Related Investment (PRI) and a $1 million companion grant to Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) in support of the Rainmakers Investment Collaborative (Collaborative). The Collaborative was established to increase impact investing in and improve access to capital by Native community development efforts in Arizona and New Mexico.

RCAC Loan Fund lends more than $10 million to rural communities

West Sacramento, Calif. — In the quarter ending Sept. 30, 2017, Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) closed 30 loans totaling more than $10 million to assist rural communities in Arizona, California, New Mexico and Washington. One loan will support a community health nonprofit organization in central California. Another loan will support a Washington tenant organization’s manufactured housing community acquisition.
