West Sacramento, Calif. — Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) was awarded a $100,000   Morgan Stanley grant to support RCAC’s programs, specifically its new Re-Emerging Loan Fund (RELieF) to help small business borrowers recover from the COVID-19 crisis.

West Sacramento, Calif. — MUFG Union Bank Foundation awarded Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) a $25,000 grant, which will be used to support RCAC’s ongoing work with rural communities during the COVID-19 crisis.

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 10, 2020 – Twenty-eight organizations from 18 states and the District of Columbia will  elevate diverse voices and broaden the national conversation about poverty and economic mobility at a critical moment in our nation’s history as recipients of $100,000 grants in the Voices for Economic Opportunity Grand Challenge, sponsored by a group of eight philanthropic organizations.

West Sacramento, Calif. — In the quarter ending March 31, 2020, Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) closed 16 loans which totaled $35,171,466 in six states. The loans supported two water and wastewater connections for rural citizens, 177 housing units, 39,254 feet of community facility space, and created or retained 411 jobs.

West Sacramento, Calif. — Wells Fargo Foundation granted $400,000 to Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) to fund tools and training, and to support housing counseling needed to assist renters and homeowners to stay in their homes.
