Project focus

In coordination with EPA Region 10 and state agencies in Oregon and Washington, four to eight communities will be selected to receive technical assistance for source water protection projects. The outcomes of this pilot project are increased capability to make informed decisions planning for and acquiring and managing critical watershed areas. These communities will be able to build partnerships and engage in regional source water protection planning initiatives, improve access to grants and financial resources, and protect America’s waters. (This is separate from the tribal source water protection project.)
