Forum to focus on improving water, sanitation in California’s rural communities
West Sacramento, Calif. (October 8, 2018) — The Rural Community Assistance Partnership, Inc. (RCAP), its western regional partner, Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC), and the California U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development will join federal, state, nonprofit and philanthropic organizations in Sacramento on Tuesday, Oct. 16, for a roundtable discussion on improving access to safe drinking water and sanitary wastewater disposal for California’s rural communities.

California’s housing package falls short in addressing building lag

Arizona Tribe threatened by heavy rains and rising water
The Menagers Dam near the Tohono O’odham Nation in southern Arizona was put to the test of holding back waters as Tropical Storm Rosa pummeled the area. The Tohono O’odham Nation has declared a state of emergency.
