West Sacramento, Calif. — Charles Schwab Bank this week awarded $20,000 to Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) to support its work with Nevada’s rural communities.

The funds will be used for activities that promote economic development including small business, affordable housing and infrastructure projects. RCAC will also provide services that increase community revitalization and stabilization, which are customized to meet each community’s individual needs. These include capacity building, needs assessment, planning and access to financial resources.

“We are pleased to partner with Charles Schwab Bank to expand our work in Nevada,” said Stanley Keasling, RCAC chief executive officer. “This funding ensures that RCAC can provide its essential programs and services where they are most needed in underserved rural communities.”
