Globe, Ariz. — Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) and the city of Globe, Arizona, Economic Development Department have launched a workshop series for entrepreneurs and existing business owners.

Start, Grow, Revive Your Business workshops are presented through RCAC’s Building Rural Economies (BRE) program. During the workshop series, participant entrepreneurs will build, their business: value chains, planning and finance, develop partnerships, build capacity for a successful business launching and management, and learn about available local resources.

Each workshop lasts two days and the series will be presented over four months beginning in February. The next sessions are: March 26-27; April 9-10 and May 14-15. Workshops are held at the Gila County Fairgrounds; and the schedule is from 4 – 8 p.m. on day one and 2 – 8 p.m. on day two, dinner provided.

Founded in 1978, RCAC provides training, technical and financial resources and advocacy so rural communities can achieve their goals and visions. RCAC serves rural communities in 13 western states and western Pacific islands.
