RCAC is pleased to announce the newest addition to our Mutual Self-Help Grantees, West Tuality Habitat for Humanity (WTHfH) in Forest Grove, Oregon. WTHfH received a Rural Development Section 523 Mutual Self-Help Technical Assistance grant to assist eight partner families in building their homes together in Forest Grove, Oregon. This investment from Rural Development, along with additional investments from Oregon Housing and Community Services and Habitat for Humanity, technical assistance from RCAC and the sweat equity contributed by the eight owner-builder families, will provide a truly affordable path to homeownership.
West Tuality Habitat for Humanity has been a Habitat for Humanity Affiliate since 1993, serving western Washington County, Oregon with over 30 years of experience in providing affordable housing. Their Homeownership program includes financial education, homeownership classes, housing counseling and developing a partnership with families to assist them in achieving their goal of homeownership.
