Though a welcome change, Native organizations continued to struggle to build housing for very low-income families and workforce housing for teachers, health care workers, and launch public safety officers. Building on Native lands has unique challenges.In 2014, RCACin cooperation with Native Capital Access (NCA) introduced THE (Tribal Housing Excellence) Academy, a multi-year initia-tive that increases housing on Native lands.
