Community organizations across the country are supporting the 2020 Census as official partners. Census partners help spread the word in local communities about the importance of the census. As a partner, you’ll be invited to attend workshops with other partners or hold a public event for your community. Partners can also access a survey-mapping application to identify low response populations that need outreach.

For historically underrepresented areas, census is a once in a decade opportunity to have your voice counted. Census data determines how funds are spent in your community on things like roads, schools and hospitals. Businesses will also use census data to decide where to put stores or offices. Perhaps most importantly, the U.S. Census affects your representation in Congress, so elected officials can fight for the issues important to your community.
