West Sacramento, Calif. —Ally Bank made a $20,000 charitable contribution to support Rural Community Assistance Corporation’s affordable housing lending. RCAC will seed a revolving fund to provide pre-development loans to construct or rehabilitate mobile home “Polanco” parks in Thermal, Oasis and Mecca, unincorporated communities in the Eastern Coachella Valley. Ally Bank’s grant will leverage additional funding that will provide much-needed safe, affordable housing for mobile home park residents.

RCAC Chief Executive Officer Suzanne Anarde praised the news saying, “RCAC is committed to bringing all the resources at our disposal to support Polanco communities, and Ally Bank is a key partner in this. Access to safe and affordable housing is an important step toward building a vibrant, healthy community.”
