West Sacramento, Calif. — Rural Community Assistance Corporation received a $500,000 grant from the Banner Bank Small Business Opportunity Fund. The grant provides recovery financing to entrepreneurs and businesses adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In particular, the funds will support services to underserved entrepreneurs and small businesses in rural communities in Banner Bank’s footprint.

RCAC Chief Executive Officer Suzanne Anarde said, “RCAC is thrilled to have Banner Bank’s support as we continue to support Tribal and rural communities throughout the west through our Re-Emerging Loan Fund. Banner Bank’s Small Business Opportunity Fund will allow us to leverage additional resources for underserved rural small businesses and entrepreneurs.”
