West Sacramento, Calif. — The Rural Community Assistance Partnership, Inc. (RCAP), its western regional partner, Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC), and the California U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development will join federal, state, nonprofit and philanthropic organizations in Sacramento on Tuesday, Oct. 16, for a roundtable discussion on improving access to safe drinking water and sanitary wastewater disposal for California’s rural communities.

When: 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The daylong summit features several topics including water and wastewater needs, funding, success stories and private sector engagement to fill gaps in partnerships with nonprofit and philanthropic organizations and will include participation from federal stakeholders such as Anne Hazlett, Assistant to the Secretary for Rural Development at the United States Department of Agriculture.
