By Nancy Jacobsen and Anne Baker, RCAC rural development specialists

We are happy to announce two upcoming SHARES training webinars!

Our first training will be focused on reviewing SHARES basics, a full breakdown of grant files, borrower files and reports. In this training you will learn how to enter a new grant, enter a new borrower, and run basic reports. We will also give you lots of tips and tricks to ensure your SHARES entries show more information and you get the most out of your reports. If you are new to using SHARES, could use a refresher or just want a better understanding of how to provide complete and accurate reports, this training is for you.

The second webinar will provide more detailed information on reporting, report content and MACROS. Macros enables six-page reports to print on only two pages and includes additional data that is not contained in the originally formatted reports.

Look for announcements and registration information in early January 2021 for the first basics training and the SHARES advanced course, which will be offered by the end of March. Everyone that uses SHARES for reporting will benefit from learning more about the multiple reports that can be generated, secrets to making your reports look great and consolidating reports into more concise versions.

Both webinars are also open to any Rural Development   staff that would like to know more about the system and what information can be found in SHARES.
