(July 22, 2014) – First Lady Michelle Obama today joined the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), of which Mrs. Obama is honorary chair, to announce that seven new supporters have joined the Drink Up effort, which encourages people across the country to drink more water, more often.

MacArthur Foundation, and Opportunity Finance Network selected Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) as a finalist for the 2014 Wells Fargo NEXT Awards for Opportunity Finance: The Future of Housing Finance.

Wells Fargo is committed to investing philanthropic dollars into rural communities throughout Alaska, California, Oregon and Washington. The Rural Investment for Sustainable Economies (RISE) is a grant to support rural nonprofits focused on job creation and workforce, economic and community development (excluding housing initiatives) within a competitive application process.
