Dear friends and colleagues,

Like you, we continue to monitor the ever changing COVID-19 situation with concern.

First and foremost, we are focused on the safety and health of our staff, their families and the communities we serve. We are monitoring Centers for Disease Control (CDC) updates, public health department warnings, school closures, staff health, at-risk or vulnerable staff and their families and tracking the number of corona virus cases in areas where we work.

Operations

As of Wednesday, March 18, all of our staff have transitioned to remote work, and all travel has been suspended until further notice. Be assured that plans have been put in place to maintain operations and ensure business continuity. We are carrying on with our work, and our staff is available by phone and email.

Training

We remain focused on providing training and technical assistance to rural communities. Based on the latest information and out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to postpone all in-person trainings and are converting many to online classes and webinars.

Please check our website regularly for updates to trainings and how RCAC is responding to this unprecedented event.

Loan Fund

Our valued borrowers are welcome to contact the Loan Fund staff to discuss how they may be impacted. We have a wide variety of loans, and effects from COVID-19 will vary significantly with the type of business or organization.  Our team will do its best to work with you.

Our mission

We’ve modified our physical operations but our mission remains intact, and we know that rural communities are strong and resilient. These are uncertain times, but we will remain steadfast as we navigate this situation individually and collectively. Our thoughts are with you and yours.

Visit CDC website for resources on how to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Thank you for your continued support. Stay safe.

Sincerely,

Suzanne Anarde
