RCAP Announces New Executive Director, Nathan Ohle

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Rural Community Assistance Partnership, a national organization facilitating access to safe drinking water and sanitary wastewater disposal to rural communities, has announced the selection of Nathan Ohle as its new executive director, starting May 15.

West Sacramento, Calif. — The Erich & Hannah Sachs Foundation, based in Yountville, California, has renewed and increased a five-year investment to RCAC for work in rural communities throughout the American West.

RCAC’s Tribal Housing Excellence (THE) Academy participants plan housing development

Portland, Ore. —RCAC is launching a second Tribal Housing Excellence (THE) Academy cohort training here this week. Eight tribes from across the American West and Alaska are participating. THE Academy is an innovative initiative that helps Native organizations increase the variety and volume of housing on their lands.

Merced County schools gather to celebrate increased access to safe drinking water

Merced, Calif. –Dignity Health, The California Endowment, Rural Community Assistance Corporation (RCAC) and Le Grand and Planada school districts gathered on March 9 to celebrate the newly unveiled water bottle filling stations that have been installed in elementary, middle and high schools.
